i cant find you in the crowd
without trying to hide
every sensation im feeling
i hardly keep it inside

i cant breathe in too deeply
without discovering you again
so i turn back the other way
but i get caught off guard again

i cant write this stupid poem
without you on my mind
driving into my words
thoughts of you left behind
