i know what they say
about whats going on in my head
how youre there when i wake
and before i lay down my head
its a little beyond reason
but i belive it nevertheless
these feelings cant be imitation
honestly, im just a little scared
i want to hold YOUR hand.
i cant find you in the crowd
without trying to hide

so i turn back the other way

a smell i chased
eyes i loved to face
a taste i savoured
skin so soft to touch
lips so delicate
a feeling i cant recreate
hands so gentle
a body i want so much
against you in the dark
but still too far apart
your fingers so softly
touching my face
my heartbeats loud and clear
i wonder if you can hear
your lips touch my neck
and i tremble at your embrace
